who was late? Foreman.
Why does Wilson lie to me? Why does he do it? Does he think I'm that fragile? I know I talk all the time about how everyone lies, but that doesn't mean I take any pleasure in saying it, or in being proved right.
He hasn't told me yet how things went with Stacey. I'll ask when the time is right.
Of course, people lie with varying degrees of skill, and part of that skill is only lying when it's necessary. Foreman is turning out to be a lousy liar. I am seriously wondering if I've overestimated his "street smarts."
In a way, it was good that things worked out the way they did with Wilson. It was fun taking Cam to the rally. It was fun to see her laugh.

It was fun to see *you* laugh, Doc. :-) I'm so glad Cam's turning out (hopefully :-) ) to be a good friend. :-) BTW: Nice hat, too! ;-) All-in-all, that really *was* a good day, wasn't it? :-)
Foreman... Foreman. *shakes head* That lad has no "people radar." If not for wiser souls like yourself, I would fear for that lad's life... LOL ;-) But, hey, he did give you the opportunity to compare yourself to the 'philosopher, Jagger.' So, the scenario wasn't a *complete* 'write off.' LOL ;-) You're absolutely correct, Doc: you *rock*! ;-) I hope the drug rep's salad was *yummy,* too. LOL
Wilson... Wilson... Wilson. *sigh* LOL I really wish you had someone in your life who was completely honest with you, Doc. Even I 'sin by omission,' because I have a rather unusual and privileged perspective on events, and it's not my place to tell you (or ask you) certain things. Remember that, for future reference.
I don't know, yet, what the whole story is with you, Wilson and Stacey. But, it sounds complicated and highly involved, emotionally. As good as Wilson is--and he really *is* good--even he F's up, sometimes. When he does, though, I think it *is* out of his love and friendship for you. In a lot of ways you *are* vulnerable, Doc, and Wilson, being a sensitive person, knows that. He should also know how much you hate being lied to, though. And: there are lies, and there are *lies.* Everyone lies to you, for instance, to get you 'hooked' on cases (even when 'low rise' jeans would work just as well LOL). But, the whole thing with Stacey and Wilson has 'danger: handle with care' written all over it. I know you're not big on the whole 'warm fuzzies' thing, but I *am,* so I'll sneak in a quick hug. {{{{Doc}}}} Don't let some old friend/flame come between what you and Wilson have. Friendship of the quality and caliber that you share is extraordinarily rare in any milieu.
I'm glad Cam went to the rally with you, Doc. It's always a pleasure to see you genuinely enjoying yourself and the company of a good friend. :-)

Awww...I didn't know you cared, Doc.
What would make your mood completely satisfied? And is that possible?
Have faith in Foreman. Maybe he's more used to dealing with thugs than with crabby diagnosticians. ;)
Just don't leave Foreman alone by the shark pool at Seaworld... or you'll "have to make another affirmative action hire." LOL Seriously, that dude is 'walking shark bait.' Smarmy Marty, drug reps... They see him coming a *mile* away. *shakes head sadly* LOL
I'm still wondering about that whole Stacey and Wilson scenario. Something's just not *right,* there. "It's a mystery..." He must have had a really compelling reason to blow off his best bud for something that you both obviously enjoy so much. So, I'm giving him a 'pass' on this one, until the real story materializes. After all, the guy has to be one of the most devoted pals on the planet, and when he does that 'sad puppy dog eyes' thing, how can a person *not* melt... LOL Plus, you wound up with Cam and cotton candy. Eases the sting a wee bit. ;-)
