It's Mother's Day! Did you remember to call your mother? I did. Well, of course, I remembered after Wilson paged me to remind me to do it. But I remembered to ask him to remind me. So I did remember, and I did call.
Mom's doing fine and gushed over the flowers I sent her. (One of the best pieces of advice my father ever gave me for dealing with women: "When you don't know what else to do, do flowers.") In fact, she was positively ebullient. She even told me that I sounded good -- she never says that. So either the florist did a really amazing job or she's still giddy that two of her personae non gratae, Constantine and Scott, have been voted off that show she watches with her little friends. If she had her way I don't think there would be anyone -- contestants, judges, audience members -- left standing.

Yes, I remembered. Although, I wouldn't mind having Wilson remind me. :-) Think of the fortune I could save on note paper and pens! ;-) Plus, I've never seen a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) with puppy dog eyes and that boyish charm Wilson still manages to pull off. ;-) In fact, I think he’d make an even *better* alarm clock… *heeeee* ;-) (Oh, just kidding—the Boy Wonder has too much trouble in that arena, already.)
I called and next time I see Mom I'll get her an exotic plant for her garden and take her to lunch (or something along those lines). For now, one of my bros took care of the flowers (a dozen long stemmed roses) and card. She never wants us to make a fuss--which, of course, means she loves it when we do. Ah, mothers. LOL
Doc, if your Mom is *anything* like you, I would not want to get in her way or try to prevent her from getting what she wants. LOL ;-) Something tells me that being formidable runs in your family. ;-)
