Fascinating: an article about how perceptions of "cool" are reflected in structural changes in the brain. When those marketing guys go messing with our minds... they really are messing with our minds.
Happy Go-To-Hell.
I'm a doctor, the head of Diagnostic Medicine at the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. Well, not really. I'm actually a fictional character on a TV show, and this blog is written by a fan who doesn't own the rights to me or any of the other characters. She also is not making any money off this blog, and she's pretty much penniless anyway, so all you lawyers can just find yourselves some more well-financed prey. Oh, and if you're looking to this blog for medical advice, DON'T. Maybe you should consult a real doctor instead.

Kewl. ;-) Just what the world needs, evil neurologists working for ad and marketing research companies.
No worries, Doc. In your case, you're 'cool' and hooked on fads/toys because:
a) According to most of the women in your life, your 'inner child' is eight-years-old (and possibly somewhat 'cranky' ;-P )
b) you really *are* hip, kewl, stylin' and trendy
c) you're neither a "cool fool" nor cool with the fools life throws your way... ;-)
d) That darn 'Rubik's Syndrome...' There *is* no cure... LOL
Sanlin ;-)
